Gold Coast is the coast side county of Queensland, it has it's most famous beach Surfers Paradise, Harvey bay, Coolangatta, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary......
By the time that I was working in Gold Coast, I lived in Southport. There are not much Asian lived there, but I met a lot of Asian friend in Gold Coast Language School. The are a lot of beaches in Gold Coast, the most frequent beach that I went was Surfers Paradise. It's around 30 minutes away from Southport via tram. Tram accepts GO card or actual ticket. There are a lot of beaches, coffee shop, pubs wildlife to visit,
One of the zoo that I went to visit was Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, I saw kangaroo, hug koala, horse, birds, and monkeys. Not only I can get so closed to wildlife, but also breath the fresh air.
One of the best beach to visit is near my work place Labrador. I saw the Palican feed show everyday at 1:30 in the afternoon near Charis Seafood, I saw the dolphin swimming in the sea, I bought buy the most freshest seafood there and enjoyed the sunny day.
There are undoubtedly more to see, to explore, to eat, to....try in Gold Coast, but of course Surfer's Paradise is a MUST visit.
Gold Coast-a place that you can live easily, happily, chilly, and fully. Definitely try to surf in the best surf spot in the world SURFERS PARADISE!
