Swords is a little town that a bit further from Dublin airport. One hour bus away from Dublin. The place is also where I lived for the whole year in Ireland.
Speaking of Swords, it's absolutely not much to see. I lived in Forest road, ridgewood, and my company is located in airside business park. The rent in Swords is not as expensive as Dublin. One single room there cost 650 EUR exclude bill. However the room is extremely small, only one double size bed and a desk and a wardrobe. Two shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen.
There is only one Aldi around where I lived, and another superValu in ten minutes away. The nearest shopping center was 40 minutes walk away and on the path to shopping town there's almost nothing, only bushes. I spent 40 minutes walk to company every single day. On my way there, there is a little shopping area, where sells the toys, family staff, starbucks.... Sometimes I spent a bit of time shopping in that area in order to kill time.
